You can hear their sound on any good day along the Southbank and tube network in London. Last year they embarked on a busking tour across Europe that spanned France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia and Slovakia.
Their new single 'Takes Two' was given to the group by Charlie Winston (one of France's biggest music acts) after he discovered them on YouTube. The track features string arrangements played by Ben Lee of the infamous rock-electric string duo 'Fuse'. Ben has worked with bands such as the Arctic Monkeys, Razorlight, Gorillaz, Amy Winehouse, White Lies, Goldfrapp, Mark Ronson and Tynchey Stryder. He decided to get involved after hearing 'Takes Two' by Belle and the Busker live on BBC Radio London. A week ago 'Takes Two' was also featured on BBC Radio 4 Saturday Live on a feature with JP Devlin after he also heard the song on Nikki Bedi's Radio show and loved the record. The group have also appeared on the Chrissy B Show, Sky channel 203 with an interview and live performance.
Belle and the Busker play, write and record in studios, streets, sheds, house parties, barns, beaches and venues. If you like what you hear please support the band by coming along to the next live show and like and share online!
