The Montréal duo have a huge edge on any aspiring DJ act with their wild live shows incorporating full drum kit and keyboards, embodying that drive you could expect seeing any heavy rock duo outfit, say DFA 1979. Just to make the crossover complete Beat Market's sound is assembled by raw body techno meeting a classic vintage, romantic and futuristic feel, reminiscing early Daft Punk and Vitalic.
Beat Market released their first full length Red Magic in 2014, which got remastered by Mike Marsh at the London Studio The Exchange (Daft Punk, Royksopp, Vitalic, Chemical Brothers, Justice). The track Aviator 2000 from this album got a highly acclaimed video treatment, eventually featured by i.e. style leading online portal High Snobiety (here), amongst many more.
The Montréal duo's second full length album Sun Machine was released Sep 18 on Montreal label Lisbon Lux Records. Title track dropped softly over the summer, and the big banger from it - See What I Mean - just released Sep 1st.
