Independent acoustic singer-songwriter from the Pennine hills of East Lancashire. "English Americana with a northern edge." Solfest Regularly clocking up over 100 live performances each year across the UK, Baxter is no stranger to the stage.

Highlights include opening shows for virtuosos such as John Gomm and John Smith, and festival appearances including Beatherder, Cloudspotting, Bristol Folk Festival, and Reeferstock, sharing the bill with the likes of Nick Harper, Chris Helme, and Fairport Convention.

Baxter has also performed several live sessions and interviews for BBC Radio, All FM, PRS for Music, and Unconvention. . A serious injury to his right hand in 2015 delayed plans for a debut album, and forced a break from live performances for a while. Now fully healed, 2016 continues to be a year of growth, with stand out gigs at Solfest, Ribble Valley Jazz & Blues Festival, and Testifest.
