It is hard to categorize Bastidas music at first listen.

In their music, one can appreciate folk echoes that melt into 90's rock pasajes and beautiful harmonized melodies. Let's imagine for a second "the people from Seattle" having a glass of red wine while contemplating the sun set in some Mediterranean beach. That is exactly what we mean with the sound of Bastida.

In the year 2013, Raul Bastida decides to starts his solo project. Not long after Jordi Farnés joins in as the drummer, whom he had previously work with in Barcelona. That same year, they self published their first E.P. "Crudo". With this first recording, the doors open in Berlin and their music starts to be listened in the German capital. After almost 40 concerts behind and a year later after their first recording, the video of "La Reina del Barrio" is edited with the collaboration of the master of harmonica, Marcos Coll, an internationally renowned figure and endorsed by Horner. The press starts talking about them ( Mondosonoro, Revista Barcelonés, Sound city) and by the end of this year they open for Iván Ferreiro in Berlin.

They have just recorded their first album "Cormorán" at the La Mina studios in Seville with the producer Raúl Pérez (McEnroe, Maika Makovski, Niño de Elche, The New Raemon, Pony Bravo).
