They combine style, class and a whiff of rock & roll in their approach of American traditionals. The three blond-haired men focus their arrangements around vocal harmony and the use of authentic instruments. They have been seen playing mandolins, banjos, dobros, guitars and of course a good old double bass.
The uplifting music will make you dance, or at least get the urge to dance, but their sensitive side occasionally takes the spotlight with enchanting harmony-infused ballads. So put on your dancing shoes and stomp along to the mesmerizing music of the blistering bluegrass trio.
Edin Najetovic, Frank de Boer and Joost Abbel have been making music together since high school. They started Barnyard Tea in 2012 out of a joint passion for roots and bluegrass music. Soon they were performing all across Europe, playing more than 150 shows in The Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
