With an ear for catchy melodies at that they manage to appeal to a broad audience and have thus been steadily expanding their fanbase across native Slovenia and internationally. Having undergone their fair share of changes in the span of less than two years, Attic Mist's line-up presently consists of five members. At the helm is the piercing and just dirty enough lead vocal of Timotej Jerman, author of most of the lyrics, which range subtly from introspective to socially critical. That undoubtedly essential six-string wizardry is the domain of Matevž Kovačič and Matija Veber, who sweeten their roaring chord progressions with tasty blues-infused licks, riffs, and solos in all the right places. Representing half of a well-oiled rhythm section is Amadei Šaršanski, a skilful bassist (meets fashion guru) with a booming, bone-shaking tone, not afraid to step onto the front line. And, lastly, whoever thinks classically trained percussionists aren't the stuff of rock 'n' roll has yet to meet the equally fearless Zala Janežič (it's a girl!), who never fails to deliver an infectious beat.
