Armstrong Short Info

Armstrong are Scotland's new alternative rock band. Imagine Shirley Manson fronting We Are Scientists with exciting pop melodies and described by some as Scotland's very own Paramore. Mixing choruses you can sing to with soaring rock anthems.

The band have been gigging since March 2015 and have played sold out shows across their home town of Glasgow alongside headlining part of King Tut's New Years Revolutions show in Jan 2016, and playing many successful out of town shows around the country. As well as extensive radio play nationwide, debut single "Thursday Night Club" recently was debuted on Scuzz TV's Scuzz underground show.

"There’s nothing more exciting about new music exploration than the realization that a track or sound immediately suggests there’s something truly special at play.  Glasgow indie rockers Armstrong definitely have lots of commercial potential as well as being the kind of band who can have a huge fanbase, and will judging from the musical sample on their debut EP." scottishfiction.co.uk

"Armstrong is a band with a refreshing gift of genuine talent and the potential to bring their take on alternative rock anthems to a wider audience, especially thanks to their well-packaged fun and infectiously catchy songs"

"Armstrong’s upbeat music is infectious and it is impossible to listen to their music with a frown on your face"

"This record and Armstrong as a band frankly are an absolute breath of fresh air. Don’t me wrong they aren’t reinventing the wheel here; they have just put new tyres on it and made it run a hell of a lot more smoothly. In a world where indie bands are everywhere these guys have come up with a formula to make themselves stand out. Who would have thought great vocals, melodies and song writing would result in a great record!?" themusicaloutcast.com

""Armstrong have managed to build a constantly engaging and brilliantly entertaining mini-release that is bound to win them fans. It’s an impressive foundation for a blossoming talent, and it’s certainly an EP worth experiencing."
