As likely to serve up a round of bludgeoning swamp rock, as they are a skewed melodic-blues elixir.

One part intoxicating wall-of-noise highs, one part distilled melodic lows.

Championed by BBC Radio One, Armchair Committee have carved a reputation as a ‘magnificent’ live band, ‘showing hints of the Foo's rampant melodicism and Jack White's howling blues’ (Kerrang! Magazine - KKKKK). Along the way they have shared stages with the likes of Royal Blood, Young Guns, Jim Jones Revue, Lucero, and many more.

"...A RAUCOUS CELEBRATION OF SWAMP ROCK." - NEVER ENOUGH NOTES, 2015

After spending much of 2014 and 2015 locked inside Coach House Studios, Bristol (previously home to Massive Attack and Portishead’s earliest material), the band collaborated with producer maestro Tom Dalgety and released single, Rawgabbit, in 2015 to widespread acclaim.

Debut LP, Half as Gold but Twice as Grand will be released mid-2016. Recorded and produced by long-time collaborator Brendan Davies, and mixed by Sean Genockey (Reuben, Jamie Lenman, Manic Street Preachers).
