Their goal is to carve a way out of the midlands countryside with their idiosyncratic and atmospheric sound.
The band started in 2015 when Lead guitarist/vocalist Edd Saffell met lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist Dan Breakell at a small gig in Nottingham.
Spurred by a mutual interest in making indie rock music the two began writting and quickly sourced bassist Ryan bills and drummer Alex Godbold to form Arc Isla.
The band's synth filled melodic breakdowns and hard hitting grungy guitars, as well as catchy lead lines set it apart from the well known indie sound and creates it's own place within the genre.
Vocal harmonies make up a big part of the bands sound, creating ambient moments of bliss between the fast paced and high energy drum fills.
