Maisie and Tom met at Salford University in September 2011 and graduated together in May 2015, both achieving first class honours studying BA: Music: Popular Music & Recording with modules in Performance and Studio Production/Composition. They have been in bands and projects together throughout their time at University, until fully committing themselves as a duo in 2015.

When writing together they have a strong emphasis on vocal harmony and delivery, before developing and arranging the song towards its potential arena filling sound, whilst also keeping some to a more intimate, minimal or acoustic level.

As well as writing, Tom and Maisie currently record & produce all of their material together in a home studio set-up. They are currently writing and recording an E.P.

Apollo Dawn have played stages and venues in Manchester such as Academy 3, Ruby Lounge, Eagle Inn, Castle Hotel, Night & Day and Factory. As well as achieving radio play on BBC Manchester through BBC Introducing.

They played the Main Stage at Atmosfield Festival, Salford (May 30th 2015)
