Anneka’s resume so far is by no means sparse and she’s only now embarking on a solo career.

Her unmistakable vocal harmonies have already graced records by Forest Swords, Falty DL, Ital Tek and Lone, on labels such as Tri-Angle, Planet Mu and R&S, and seen her feature on a Mary Anne Hobbs BBC Radio 1 Live Session from the legendary Maida Vale Studios, alongside Starkey. These collaborations give you an idea of where Anneka’s coming from but her live show is the first chance to see the huge potential she has when she does it all by herself. Armed with drumsticks, sample pads, keyboards, tambourines and shakers and of course a mic, Anneka constructs textured, ethereal grooves on the fly and then laces them with inspired lyrical harmonies. Combine that with intelligent and innovative song writing and you have a truly unique artist.

With the live show (which she's taken to Russia, Europe and across the UK), Anneka emerges as much more than just a go to vocalist for electronic producers, she has the understanding and ability to be an electronic artist in her own right. As The Recommender put it, “here is a new artist that’s stepping out from the shadows of her obvious talent and into the light, because she definitely has it.” Currently touring and with a solo record in the pipeline, Anneka’s future looks undoubtedly bright.

A “recent obsession for our ears”… “Her solo material is ethereal, rich, beautifully textured and overall rhythm-oriented.” – Deer Brains

“…as regards to her solo career, we’re only now at the beginning stages – which is frightening considering just how great she already sounds.” – The 405

“…a truly magical sight. She plays the kind of music you lose yourself in, not to suggest it’s self-indulgent, rather that it’s hypnotic and dripping in atmosphere. ” – The Recommender
