Die im Jahre 2006 gegründete Band aus Frankenthal spielt eine Mischung aus epischem Pagan und düsterem Black Metal.
Angur setzen neben den für Metal typischen Instrumenten auch eine Drehleier ein, sodass dem Sound ein authentischer Folkeinschlag beigemischt wird.
2015 veröffentlichten Angur ihre neue EP "Ego", welche den Stil in weiterentwickelter Weise präsentiert - reifer, düsterer, kompromissloser.
Angur - a Pagan Black Metal Band from Rhineland-Palatine. Besides the typical rock music instruments Angur use a hurdy gurdy and also flutes to breathe new life into folk tunes.
In 2015 Angur released their new EP "Ego", which presents the band in a more mature and darker way, without any compromise.
