Originally several songs were composed with some Bossa Nova and Jazz influences, which were released in 2012 EP “Tudo o que eu quero”, fully in Portuguese. In 2014 two new members has joined the project, - a metal bass player and a progressive rock drummer. That aligned in the music style initially adopted.
Years later Jazz influences started to mix with metal and rock creating a different kind of sonority. The whole band moved to the Netherlands in 2017. In 2018 a Classic Jazz Saxophone player joined the project introducing a free jazz notation to the songs. Anasouls project is composing songs in genre that we can qualify as “Jazz Progressive Industrial” in English and Portuguese.
