The single “If I knew her name” (with the B-side “Tony’s Dream”) was produced by the band at their home studio in Bristol earlier this year and mixed/mastered by Saverio Paiella at Busthard Studios in Italy.
Alma Grey’s music picks mostly from shoegaze rock and low-fi garage punk to shape a unique dense sound rounded by dreamy songwriting and glitchy lyrics. Beyond the impact of the powerful and eclectic live shows there’s the refined concept of Marco (Vocals, guitar, synth), who puts in words and sounds contemporary contradictions and individual alienation of our days.
The band performed a few live shows in Bristol Including a headline act at “Free for all Bristol” festival and a support act for Hypochristmutreefuzz (Belgium).
