A truly spectacular display of psychedelic combustion's of garage rock trippin'. This band heavily influenced by Volumes of psychedelic garage rock such as back from the grave and the pebble collection to name a few, one wouldn't be surprised if David Bowie or Iggy and the stooges fell flat faced onto the record player at one of there party's giving you a steam punk fusion of sound that takes a licking and keeps on kicking. Currently Alkatraz is Booking gigs in Serbia for the summer and lining up Live radio Performances across Cornwall due to the success of BBC radio broadcasts presented by David White and Freddy Zapp introducing the sounds of Alkatraz to a large audience. As last year the band became Festival material with performances at Blissfields festival and Beautiful days, you can definitely expect to see Alkatraz on the bigger stages again in 2016. Also a green light has opened a door to America for this band to in the form of Pandora radio who are to be putting the EP "Out oF mY Mind" into there radio waves early 2016 for steady plays in the foreseeable future. Previously three of the band members were in a band called The Tramadols "it's like being punched in the face with a really sexy fist" when front man Alex Anderson Paused the project to consider a more positive image creating Alkatraz with a message of "free your mind, feel your soul and embrace the world around you" bringing forward a motion of evolution in their sound.
