Albatross Archive is a Cardiff-based duo centred around the songs of Richard Jackson (piano and vocals) and the beats of Kit Denison (drums and electronics).

Their live shows are synced to animated visuals.

With a voice that has been described as sitting between Thom Yorke, Jeff Buckley and Morrisey, Jackson sings songs wrapped in themes of self-acceptance, personal battles and introspection. This is complimented by Kit’s unconventional drumming style; a fusion of jazz-inspired patterns and processed sounds.

Musically, they draw inspiration from electronic, classical, jazz and contemporary music to create music built around complex structures, minute detail and emotional intensity.

The band have supported Gulp, Charlotte Church, Patterns and We're No Heroes and are playing various festivals this summer including Focus Wales.

Ribcage, the second EP of material in their current format, is due for release in February 2015.
