Opera/pop-trained vocalist and rising talent Alarke is a Mexico City/LA-based high-octane artist.

She cross-pollinates house subgenres (tech, acid, and deep) and UK garage with her live hybrid DJ sets featuring distinctive, colorful vocals and catchy originals. Her creative fuel lies at the intersection of dance music culture, the frontiers of innovative technology, and high fashion.

With the ability to create a vibe for both a peak-time dance floor and a vibey poolside afternoon set, Alarke is musically diverse in curating her live sets. Equally broad are the stages she's appeared on—from the Kennedy Center to Carnegie Hall to Fábrica De Arte in Cuba. Alarke's style is a cross between Charli XCX and Peggy Gou, and her background as an opera and jazz manouche singer, pop songwriter, and recording studio engineer ignites her unique approach to her vocal style and compositions.

Alarke believes we need art that reflects the time we live in. While studying opera at the Schulich School of Music at McGill University in Montréal, Canada, she fell in love with electronic music via Montréal’s eclectic music scene and ended up focusing on digital composition at McGill. Alarke’s become bullish in the web3 world—inspired by BLOND:ISH and Grimes’ active work in the culture—and has dropped music NFTs, including a live mint with Sound.xyz.

Behind the name: Alarke, a play on the artist’s surname Alouette (French for lark or songbird), embodies freedom, echoing the essence of heeding the heart's call—a commitment to spontaneity. Alarke has sung in vineyards at a château in France, sung opera in Italian castles, created an album in Cuba, sang with Romani people in their caravans in France, and composed music with refugees in Greece.

Alarke is also the CEO of SupremeSound.Life, a global platform that mentors pop and electronic artists. SupremeSound.Life hosts workshops on songwriting, vocal training, and music production, helping artists to release and perform music they love. A big part of Alarke’s mission is to champion up-and-coming talent.
