Many know Afformance from their post rock songs of the past; this is only half true for the musical universe of the Athenian collective, which since its creation in 2005, does not hesitate to experiment and broaden its artistic and technical limits, ignoring forms while remaining consistent to the quality line the band carved, producing and reproducing in a studio and live environment, sounds that stimulate its soul, from cinematic ambient soundscapes to emotionally charged, electrifying explosions, that confirm the rock roots of this unique band.
2017 finds Afformance facing a great recording project, the simultaneous release of two albums, with two different orientations and two different personalities, both musically and thematically, through the upcoming record label United We Fly.
