Nabokov's final novel, the female producer starts fresh from her previous projects, creating magic realist pop music. Fractured poetry, found sound and melo-declamation burst out among synth pop and euro-dance patterns, both tense and uplifting - much like her name, the results explore the moods in between.
Having performed at SXSW, The Great Escape, Reeperbahn, KEXP with her previous projects, she’s received praise from Louder than War for her music's 'lush widescreen melancholy,' and The Quietus describing her music as 'drenched in ghostly introspection' - ada ardor carries these feelings with her but with an urgent danceable vigour.
The debut tune Dream Trance, premiered on KEXP, has been called "a musical poetry" by IGGY magazine and got played on BBC Introducing. The animated video for the song has been included in AIIFF's & Diametrale Film Festival's official programmes. The sophomore single, Horse, was supported by Rolling Stone and called "the theme song for a pre-apocalyptic loss of innocence, with a melodic avant-garde flair" by The Other Side Reviews. The 3d single "Right" got previewed on BBC Introducing Scotland on December 8 2023, and got featured in a Rolling Stone article on 20 new artists to keep an eye on.
