Ad-hoC gründeten sich im Jahre 1996 unter dem Namen "Mortal Intention".
Während dieser Schaffensperiode veröffentlichte man insgesamt 2 Demos und 4 Full-lenght Alben und konnte viele Gigs im In– und Ausland spielen.
2010 änderte man den Bandnamen in “Ad-hoC”. 2011 erschien das erste selbstbetitelte Album unter der Flagge von Black Blood Records, welches dieses Schritt eindrucksvoll unterstrich und durchweg gute Presseresonanz erhielt. Im Jahr 2014 konnte das neue Werk "n o n k o n f o r m" veröffentlicht werden, welches die eingeschlagene Entwicklung konsequent weiterführt. Erstmalig konnte man auch visuell den angestrebten Anspruch, in Form eines Videoclips zum Song "Im Dunkel", umsetzen.
