While maintaining a sound all his own, Abstract Artimus belts out catchy hard rock songs that are reminiscent of The Stooges back in the Raw Power days or AC/DC in their High Voltage era. His ties to Lynyrd Skynyrd are slightly cryptic yet at the time of Artimus' birth in Jacksonville Florida, his father was the drummer for the Jimmie Van Zant Band which allowed Artimus to mature around some of the most prolific Southern Rockers of that time. Rumor has it Artimus' father lost a considerable poker pot to Ronnie Van Zant and was promised a re match upon Ronnie's return from the tour in which he would perish.
