We blend self-penned celtic style tunes with bluesy/jazzy grooves including the subtle use of live effects on the fiddle to create an ambient/dance feel which has recently been described as “Balearic”. Aartwork is “a well balanced fusion of genres.”

More recently, Aartwork have moved from using ipad beatz played live with a midi foot controller to becoming a 5 piece band with Phoebe, who is a concert recorder player, Claire adding vocals into the mix, Merlyn Bruce, a jazz drummer from Nashville Tennessee and Oli Arditi playing electric bass. Aartwork has also been collaborating with Jan Pulsford , keyboardist and co-writer for Cyndi Lauper and The Thompson Twins, on music and film.
