A BILLION LIONS are a 4 piece punk/rock band from Leeds/Bradford with an American influenced sound.

'Devil's Dance' is their third official release. A BILLION LIONS formed in Leeds in 2013 putting their first demo recordings ‘On My Lover’ and ‘I’m Free’ on Youtube. Ferocious active in the North East’s punk scene A BILLION LIONS gravitated towards End Of The Trail Records with its unique ‘no contract, band owns everything, no strings attached policy’. Debut releases ‘Torquay’ and 'Doomsday Babies' gained airplay from BBC 6 Music, XFM, Amazing Radio, BBC Intro and Planet Rock. With debut album Let It Happen due next year ‘Devil's Dance’ looks set to build on the already considerable love in radioland and blogworld for A BILLION LIONS with this feisty young band already likened to Henry Rollins, Pavement, Frank Turner, Allusondrugs, Courtney Barnett and Blink 182. A BILLION LIONS are already booked to play The Great Escape Festival and Liverpool Sound City in 2016. Airplay support includes FOTN (Fresh Faves 137), BBC Introducing West Yorkshire, BBC 6 Music (Tom Robinson + Steve Lamacq), John Kennedy on XFM, Planet Rock, BBC Introducing Mixtape (9th Feb) & Amazing Radio (Aaron Phillips).

A BILLION LIONS are Joe Parr (Vocals + power chord master), Philly Cheese (Vocals + face melting solos), Ryan Olliver (Vocals + bass in your face) and Matt Nutter (He hits stuff).
