Five Up is a band whose music genre can’t be defined exactly, therefore it is more interesting to hear and see their live performance to understand what the guys gravitate to: electronic rock, drum'n'bass or synth punk.
Interesting rock vocal and a permanent confrontation with the musical tradition: "How do they manage without a guitar?", existential texts and an expressive percussion part – all this turns the band's performances into a constant experiment over the listener's tastes. You don’t understand, whether you should dance to the drum or sing to the rock or just close your eyes and get lost in thought.
