100,000 BodyBags have played nationwide and have had several singles and an 11-track compilation CD released by various labels. The 'Bags write about everyday anxiety. Politics is never far beneath the surface. Like The Monkees, they all live together in one big happy house and their favourite food is red wine (which, coincidentally, is their favourite drink too).
Signed to Damaged Goods, the first single had critical success within the underground fanzine network and was placed in Maximum Rock'n'Roll's end-of-year Top TEn charts. A second single was released but, after a minor riot at a gig in London, they were dropped by the label.
Weird records released the next single, and an initial press of 500 sold out. A fourth single was commissioned but the label went bust. Since then the band have been self-releasing CDs until signing with Death Monkey Records in 2013 to record and release their latest album 'Breaking Something Beautiful.'
