The Cliftons are a Scottish alternative/ indie rock band formed in 2013 in Aberdeen, managed by Kid A Music.

The band consists of James Will (lead vocals & rhythm guitar), Andrew Joseph (lead guitar and backing vocals), Keir Smith (bass guitar) & Bilal Benzahia (drums and backing vocals).
These youngsters take influence from the sounds of Catfish and the Bottlemen, Fatherson, Arctic Monkeys and Queens of the Stone Age and have supported names such as The Bluetones and The Lapelles as well as playing at the Celebrate Aberdeen festival. Fresh off the back of being Finalists in the Original 106fm "One to Watch" Award, The Cliftons have just released their brand new Ep 'Scarlett' on all platforms on the 20th of January 2017 which showcases a plethora of sounds from the upbeat Indie Rock 'Admission' to the emotion-filled atmospheric 'Demons' and the fast funky title track 'Scarlett'. The Cliftons were also recently featured in Jim Gellatlys new music column in the Scottish Sun before a very successful Ep launch night at the Tunnels Aberdeen.
The Cliftons are now in the process of getting prepared to record again for a possible summer launch.
